River Island cut out boots and Outfit of the Day post #OOTD #WIWT

I bought these boots from River Island yesterday but I bought the cream ones.  I felt like the cream ones made me look a little emo which isn't a style I've ever gone for so I decided to switch them for the black ones and I like them so much more.  They were reduced from £65 to £40.

While I'm here, I thought I'd also do a little outfit of the day.  Nothing special, just shorts and a crop t-shirt.  Why is it whenever you wear shorts (with tights) in this weather, all you hear people say is "Aren't you cold in those shorts?".  Erm no, I have tights on.  You wouldn't say that if I had a skirt on with tights so what's the difference with shorts?
