New YouTube Video: Fashion Haul - Zara, Topshop, River Island, H&M, Primark and more

I meant to post this the other day but I forgot!  I've been shopping AGAIN so I just thought I'd share with you what I got.  I've also put in clips of me wearing each item.  You can check out the video here.

Most of the things I've bought have been from the sale.  Oh and in case you do watch the video and wonder if I got the job I mentioned, I did!  I start in mid-August so some fab news for me!

Tuesday's Outfit of the Day: White #OOTD #WIWT

The weather is so changeable at the moment.  One minute, it's sunny, the next it's raining.  And just because it's sunny doesn't mean it's warm so dressing at this time of year is so difficult!  Today I opted for pretty much all white.

White is probably one of my favourite colours to wear (although not the most practical, especially with me being as clumsy as I was as a child and a 21 month old who likes to climb all over me).

Tomorrow, we are going to Great Yarmouth for a few days.  We used to holiday there when I was little and my mum and dad are going so me, my husband and two boys are basically crashing the second half of their holiday!  I can't wait, even if the weather is going to be rubbish!

Ooops having posted for a while again!  I've just had a mega busy week, plus more sleepless nights with my youngest starting to teeth and wake me up every hour!

I can't find the scarf on the Zara website but I only got it on Friday so it's still in their stores.  I've been after a Zara scarf for ages and absolutely love this one.  It's so thick so will keep me nice and warm but is still fine for the warmer weather (and being in the UK, we rarely get boiling hot days it seems!).  The shoes I also love but they hurt like hell and I'm not sure they'll ever break in!  They're in a really stiff patent and really hurt my ankles but, hey, us women bear pain for the things we love!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and have a good week.  I'm going away for a few days this week with my little family.  Only in the UK and the weather isn't great but a break is a break, and a much needed one at that! 

Oh quickly to add, I've also done another video on my YouTube Channel which you can check out  below.  It was a requested video, to style a playsuit over jeggings/skinny jeans.  This isn't something I've ever worn before and not sure I would wear it.  I've never been a massive fan of leggings as it is and I've never really been one to wear them under a dress.  But I gave it a go and hope you like (if you watch it of course!) x

Tuesday Outfit of the Day: The Cold Shoulder | Plus YouTube Video now live: Top 10 Summer Wardrobe Essentials

Just a quick outfit of the day.  I'm hoping to catch up on some much needed sleep this afternoon as my son has been up since 3am!  Wish I had his energy!  And we were all up and out the door by 9.30am this morning to go and see friends.  Now I'm home, catching up on some blogging and hoping that my boys will both sleep this afternoon!

Weekend Catch-up, including Outfit of the Night and Outfit of the Day

So I've had a bit of a busy, but fun, weekend.  Friday night, I caught up with some friends.  We just went to some local bars and I got home at a reasonably respectable 1am.  Saying that, that's late for me!!!

This is the outfit I wore.

I am absolutely in love with this outfit.  The jacket is amazing.  I love the colours.  And the playsuit is gorgeous, just not very practical when you're out drinking your body weight in alcohol but I survived!  I think the last Vodka & Red Bull done me in so I was hanging on Saturday.  The only thing I added to this look was some false lashes before I went out.  I actually managed to put them on and they stayed on for once!!!  Nothing worse than half way through the night and you notice one of your lashes is hanging off!  They were only Primark ones as well so I was amazed how well they did.

So, as I said, Saturday I was hungover so I just sat in the garden and didn't do much at all.

Today, being Mother's Day, I spent it with my boys.  My mum popped round earlier and then we went to see my mother-in-law in the evening.  Followed it off with a lovely takeaway and am now relaxing with a glass of wine!

So that was my weekend.  It's been a really good one and the weather has been so nice!  I can't wait for the summer.  I hope it's a good one x

Sparkly Nails and a slightly masculine outfit of the day

I can't believe I once said I don't wear monochrome much because black doesn't suit me.  I don't think black is my colour actually but it doesn't stop me wearing it.  I think I wear monochrome on an almost daily basis!  

There's something about this outfit that I feel is just ever so slightly masculine.

Nails - Maybelline Color Show in Nearly Black

The jumper is from Primark and I've had it for a while now.  It's a little on the snug side but I still really love it.  On my bottom half, I'm wearing my favourite River Island leather-look trousers.  I really do love everything about them!  Not going to bother commenting on the shoes because they are extremely old!

I picked up this nail varnish from Boots yesterday and I really like it.  It's by Maybelline and it has a real lovely shimmery, sparkly effect to it.  It has a bit of a matte finish but I think this nail varnish is in definite need of a topcoat as I think it would chip far too easily!  I also picked up the Rose Chic version which is more of a beigey pink colour - again with the same shimmery effect.

Today's outfit is a simple one for running around in.  I had to take my cats for their boosters at the vets this morning, then I had to pick my niece up from school as she still wasn't feeling well, then I had to rush back in time for a doctor's appointment!  So manic morning but I'm looking forward to a quiet afternoon.

Monday's Outfit of the Day: Checks & Leopard #OOTD #WIWT #Zara #RiverIsland #patternclash

Hey everyone, hope you are all having a lovely day.  I had to rush my son to the doctors this morning because he woke up covered in a horrible red rash!  Got him to the doctors and it's just a viral rash from where he's been unwell.  And he ate something today!!!  It was only a piece of toast but it's the first thing he's eaten since Thursday!  Wish the sick bug had that effect on me!

So anyway... back to what my blog is about... fashion!  This is today's outfit and I am in LOVE with it!
