Tuesday's Outfit of the Day: Topshop, Missguided & New Look #OOTD #WIWT

Today, I had to get ready in a mega rush - which is why I'm having a bit of a bad hair day with random bits sticking up (which you can see in one of the pics - I think).  But I had to rush my son down to the doctors today as he was having really bad breathing problems, had me up during the night and I really didn't sleep too well worrying about him!  Anyway, he's fine but just has a throat infection. It's probably the third time I've been to the doctors in the past month, even the doctor told me that they'd give me my own seat!  But I don't mind because that doctor is so good looking!  Anyway, enough about my crush on my doctor.  So I had to get to the doctors before 10am so I just threw this outfit on and I have to say, I really love it!

Missguided Top (old)

I am absolutely in love with this Topshop skirt.  It fits perfectly (apart from it does ride up and twist round a bit) and is amazing quality.  I was surprised at the price of this.  It was only about £34 which I think is such great value for such a beautiful skirt - I got mine from their petite range.  I am also loving these shoes from New Look.  Another bargain.  Only £9.99 and they are ridiculously comfortable.  I may have to invest in some other colours.  The top is from Missguided.  Not sure if they still do it but it's such a great piece.  It's a real summer basic.

I'm also working on another lookbook this week for my YouTube Channel.  I'm just trying to do a week in outfits so everything I wear this week should be going on to that video which I hope to have up by Sunday.

So I've had a bit of a hectic morning, doctors, chemist, shopping, now home and hoping my boys will sleep the afternoon away so I can enjoy the sunshine! x

Bank Holiday Monday Outfit of the Day: Summertime Basics #OOTD #WIWT

So another lovely warm day here so I just threw this on.  You can't go wrong with a pair of cut off jeans.  They go with pretty much anything!

River Island Cotton Crop Jacket (old)
Primark Cut-Off Jeans
New Look Sandals (old)
Primark Bracelets

I love these cut-offs.  I picked them up in the Primark sale for just £5!!! x

Saturday's Outfit of the Day: Summer Smart #OOTD #WIWT

So yesterday I got back from a couple of days in Great Yarmouth with my family.  I think the weather was better there than here in London but not by much!  We had such fun although I have got yet another cold and lost my voice completely on the second day.  My husband said I sounded like Marge Simpson!!!  I actually think I sound more like her today!  Now it's back home to the usual daily chores!  At least it's sunny though!

Primark Shoes, Shorts & Bag
Armani Watch

How nice is this watch?!  It's my husband's that I've pinched off him for today.  He is obsessed with watches and I just love the chunkiness of a man's watch :-)

These shorts are from Primark.  They were about £10 which I think is a bargain.  They look so much more expensive than that.  They also do the matching jacket but I just didn't really like it.  Typical when they also had my size in that as well!  I can never seem to find a Primark that does matching sets in the same size!

Anyway, I'm off out to enjoy the sunshine now!  Hope you all have a good one x

Sunday's Outfit of the Day: Black Stripes, White Stripes

Ooops having posted for a while again!  I've just had a mega busy week, plus more sleepless nights with my youngest starting to teeth and wake me up every hour!

Zara Scarf - £20.00
H&M Top - £9.99
Primark White Jeans - £10.00
Primark Necklace - £3.00

I can't find the scarf on the Zara website but I only got it on Friday so it's still in their stores.  I've been after a Zara scarf for ages and absolutely love this one.  It's so thick so will keep me nice and warm but is still fine for the warmer weather (and being in the UK, we rarely get boiling hot days it seems!).  The shoes I also love but they hurt like hell and I'm not sure they'll ever break in!  They're in a really stiff patent and really hurt my ankles but, hey, us women bear pain for the things we love!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and have a good week.  I'm going away for a few days this week with my little family.  Only in the UK and the weather isn't great but a break is a break, and a much needed one at that!

Oh quickly to add, I've also done another video on my YouTube Channel which you can check out  below.  It was a requested video, to style a playsuit over jeggings/skinny jeans.  This isn't something I've ever worn before and not sure I would wear it.  I've never been a massive fan of leggings as it is and I've never really been one to wear them under a dress.  But I gave it a go and hope you like (if you watch it of course!) x

New Youtube Video: Collective Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Haul + Lookbook, incl. Primark, Zara, River Island, Nasty Gal, H&M and more...

On Monday, I uploaded yet another fashion haul.  You can check it out here or by clicking below.  I've also done a mini lookbook.  Well I say lookbook, basically I've put in clips of me wearing each item.

I have a lot of other videos up on my YouTube channel in case you want to check those out! xxx

Tuesday Outfit of the Day: Another sunny day, another white dress

It's another beautiful day.  I love this time of year.  This dress was also part of my Nasty Gal order and, even though it looks like something you would potentially wear to bed, I think it may just be the perfect white dress... but then the one in my last post was also  pretty perfect...

New Look Sandals (old)

Nasty Gal have some amazing stuff.  I really wanted this dress in a S/M but they only had M/L.  I figured I loved it so much that I'd just order the M/L anyway and it fits fine, although I definitely would have preferred the smaller size.  But room to grow I guess :-)

Hope you all have a lovely day.  Not long until the long East weekend! x

Sunday's Outfit of the Day: Boho Chic

Oh my goodness, words cannot describe how in love with this dress I am!!!  It's just perfect

New Look shoes (old)
Primark Bag
Primark Butterfly Headband

This dress wasn't that cheap, about £30, plus I got stung with the heavy import charges but it was definitely worth it!

I love a white dress.  And although it isn't white, it's more of a creamy colour, it's still perfect.  I do love Nasty Gal stuff.  But I definitely think I need to stay away if I want to keep my bank balance looking heathy!

It's another beautiful day here so I'm going to enjoy the sunshine.  Hope you are all enjoying your weekend x

Sparkly Nails and a slightly masculine outfit of the day

I can't believe I once said I don't wear monochrome much because black doesn't suit me.  I don't think black is my colour actually but it doesn't stop me wearing it.  I think I wear monochrome on an almost daily basis!

There's something about this outfit that I feel is just ever so slightly masculine.

River Island shirt (men's)
River Island leather-look skinny jeans
Primark Jumper
New Look shoes (old)
Nails - Maybelline Color Show in Nearly Black

The jumper is from Primark and I've had it for a while now.  It's a little on the snug side but I still really love it.  On my bottom half, I'm wearing my favourite River Island leather-look trousers.  I really do love everything about them!  Not going to bother commenting on the shoes because they are extremely old!

I picked up this nail varnish from Boots yesterday and I really like it.  It's by Maybelline and it has a real lovely shimmery, sparkly effect to it.  It has a bit of a matte finish but I think this nail varnish is in definite need of a topcoat as I think it would chip far too easily!  I also picked up the Rose Chic version which is more of a beigey pink colour - again with the same shimmery effect.

Yesterday's Outfit of the Day #Dungarees #NewLook #OOTD #WIWT

I didn't get round to doing an outfit post yesterday so I thought I'd share today.  Better late than never!

It was so lovely yesterday.  Nice and sunny and quite warm (for England anyway!).

New Look Dungarees - £24.99
River Island Stripey Vest Top (old)
Converse (old)
Primark Cardigan - £5.00 (sale)

I've tried on a lot of short dungarees but they've never looked very nice but these ones, I think, are perfect.  They fit nicely (although I did have to size down as my usual size came up HUGE!) and look great on.  Casual yet stylish.

It was a teeny weeny bit chilly in the wind yesterday so I just chucked on a cardigan.  By the afternoon, I'd had a complete outfit change as, typical UK weather, it clouded over! x
